From 20/400 to 20/40 w/ contacts+glasses

I just went from 20/400 to 20/40 in my right eye when my optometrist
gave me a contact lens to use w/ my eyeglasses! Yay!

Yep. With my glasses on as well (b/c my contact is meant to be used
with my eyeglasses).

Are we talking about a contact lens telescope by any chance?
A negative lens for the contact.
And a positive lens with the eyeglasses.

No. just a -6.00 contact lens worn beneath my -3.00 eyeglass.
