My grandmother had her cataract and glaucoma surgery 20 days ago on her
left eye. Her left eye sight was good for about a week. Then her left
eyesight suddenly became worse. She's been having blurred vision and
seeing doubles. But she is not experiencing any pain or soreness in her
eye. We did not get much information from her doctor. about why this
happened. He only said that it there is built-up fluid again in her
left eye and gave her some eye drops. Does anyone know why this
happened? Will it get worse? Does she need another surgery on her left
eye? She's supposed to have her cataract/glaucoma surgery on her
right eye on Wednesday. I am not comfortable of her getting another
surgery on her right eye when the left eye surgery did not produce the
desired result. Should she put off the second eye surgery?
Please help! I am so worried about her.
