bubbles from lasik?

someone told me that scuba diving is dangerous for people who have undergone
lasik surgery due to the pressure change possibly decompressing bubbles
formed at the site of the graft. Can anyone qualify these claims?
I only learned of this when I was talking to a friend of mine about the
space program... the US Navy accepts candidates for fighter pilots who have
undergone lasik, but the National Aeronautical and Space Administration
(according to my source) won't allow lasik patients who are otherwise
qualified to enter the space program as astronauts. When I asked possible
reasons why, my friend told me his idea about the bubbles. There's no
telling who he heard this idea from. So, who has the straight dope?

Nope, no bubbles when scuba diving. Just a myth.
