Contact lens out of solution overnight

Couple of nights ago, I thought I put the contact in the case after
work but next morning I realized it was on the ground. As expected the
contact was all wrinkled and hard like glass.

I soaked it in the allpurpose solution for more than a day and today I
noticed that the lense felt completely fine. I put it on today and
thus far it feels fine.

Is there a problem that I might have with that? Will the prescription
or contours of the contact change if its not stored in a solution for
lets say 8 hrs?

My contacts are more than $100 a pair, so I want to reuse them if I
can.

I lost a contact some years back. My OD said it would be fine if I found
it, but to be careful because it would dry up and look like a corn flake,
and be easy to break until it got soaked again.
