Time for new contact lenses. I've been corresponding with the Boston
Foundation for Sight re: their Scleral Prosthetic Lens, but ... it's a
pretty radical (and expensive!) step.
I've been wearing (full atropinised wavefront Rx) scl's (actually
don't know which brand) for quite a while, but the dry eye is getting
intolerable.
I'm wondering whether anybody thinks I might have better luck with
another stab at RGP's (which I wore without difficulty for quite a few
years), especially with the advent of the ZWAVE technology.
Obviously they're considerably cheaper, and probably much easier to
manage, than the Scleral. If there's a particular type that you've
had good success with, I think it'd be worth my while to try it first.
SPEC Rx:
SPH CYL AXIS
OD +8.44 -1.71 89
OS +7.95 -1.92 69
Grateful for any thoughts....
TIA,
