As soon as I can unless you or someone proves that orthoK is nearly as
dangerous as laser surgury. From what I read, its nearly as safe as
regular daily wear contacts and 10x safer than overnight extend wear
contacts. In the meantime, I will be trying different brands of soft
contacts. Those who can tolerate contacts with relatively little
discomfort are lucky! They dont need orthoK and especially not lasik
because they get along fine with contacts. The complication rate of
contacts is NOT 5%, maybe extended wear but no one in their right mind
would wear contacts for a week strait without taking them out, they are

just asking for trouble. If they are so lazy that they cant take 30
seconds to remove their contacts at night and instead sleep with them,
they might as well stick to glasses. Even if I find a brand of contact
that I can tolerate somewhat, I wont be using it full time because of
presbyopia and I dont tolerate monovision. No point wearing contacts
and still needing reading glasses. I will use them for distance only. I

could get a weaker pair for intermediate such as the computer but my
eyes will probably just get dry in no time and glasses dont get in the
way if im just sitting in front of the computer. Contacts do have their

use in sports and some outdoor activities. They may also be useful for
parties and dates but I wont see clearly or at all from near unless I
bring my reading glasses with me. Shopping would be a pain as id have
to put my reading glasses everytime I read something, be it my watch,
the numbers on my cell phone, the recipt, anything near. The best
compromise is undercorrecting myself by a diopter to a diopter and a
half. Distance vision suffers slightly but it makes all the difference
in seeing clearly from near without needing readers. With glasses I can

just lift them or peak under them. Bottom line is contacts dont work
well for presbyopes unless they use them just for distance vision,
monovision or undercorrect.

talking to? what do you know about contacts and presbyopia? you need
to crash and come down a little. maybe daddy should disconnect your

Nah but I did eat some roast turkey drumsticks. Yummy too! mushrooms
dont have much nutrition value but some people like mushrooms in salads
or with pizza. I have trouble accomdating so I know exactly the
limitations of contacts. I can either use them for distance or
undercorrect and use them for intermediate. Theres multifocal but me
and my mom dont like it. Mom does monovision but at times its annoying
but better than reaching for reading glasses every time.
