Fascinating article - claims they have discovered genes responsible for
myopia. Also claims that too much close work and lack of sunlight can
aggravate moyopia.

I don't know, but one quote I don't believe is,
"I would doubt whether the usage of glasses is falling because even
people who wear contact lenses are not wearing them 24 hours a day."

I do, for weeks! Anybody else wear their contacts 24hrs for a couple weeks?

The article doesn't even link to the two studies it references.

The article itself doesn't mention anything about sunlight. A
commenter does..
