Get an eye exam and discuss it with your optometrist.

Can you provide a bit more detail about the "eye staribn.headaches?"

They don't sound like something I'd want. The aberrant punctuation
mark makes them sound particularly ominous....

Why don't you have a proper, thorough eye exam, with a licensed eye
doctor, get a pair of prescription glasses (or contact lenses) made,
try them out for a few weeks, and see if you like the results?

My two cents. I'm not an eye doctor.

Are you kidding? Of course you do, or contacts, at the very least...

Of course you are assuming that his vision is correctable. I'm assuming
that he went to an eye doctor, and that's how he found out what his
vision was.

If his eye doctor said he should get glasses, at least to try, then I
concur.

I went to my OD a few weeks back, to see if I should wear glasses or
contacts. He said that it was my decision. Since three different eye
doctors have told me that I need to wear them, not for correction but
for protection, since my vision in one eye isn't good, after two weeks I
decided to get them. With the insurance, it was all of US$3.00, so it
wasn't the money. They do help my vision, although I often forget to
wear them.

You are absolutely correct, and I should have mentioned that. Once
again it would have been very helpful if he'd posted the Rx. That would
eliminate 90% of the guessing we have to do around here...

Em, that makes no sense. Don't you mean glasses at the least? I WANT
glasses, I don't know my Rx but I di know I have had SOME (not alot) of
difficulties seeing things. I know people who have much worse and don't
wear glasses. I get eye strain, fatigue and headaches sometimes now, my
right eye is at least twice as bad (if that makes sense) than my left.
