How do you notice that your contacts are drying?

Simple question How do you notice it? Your vision becomes blurry?
Your eyes get irritated? ...

Both of those would be signs of drying contact lenses *if* rewetting
them resolves the issues. Otherwise, you may have fit issues or need
to be in a different formulation of lens.

In other words, if using contact lens rewetting drops helps, then you
should use them. If the drops don't help, then methinks you should go
back to your optometrist for evaluation. Either way, you should
mention the issue at your next follow-up visit.

Sometimes late in the day no amount of rewetting drops will help, even if they
do on other (presumably damper) days.
