I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on the internet. Having said
that, I would think that the most important fact to know is, what is
causing your double vision? I had double vision for several years when
wearing glasses. My doctor told me this would happen, and the solution
was to wear contacts. This was back before there were contacts that you
could wear all the time, so I had the problem of what to do between the
time I took them out and the time I went to bed (I put them in first
thing in the morning, so didn't have a problem then). I just saw
double. After some time (a couple of years, as I remember), I just got
used to it. My brain blocked the image from one eye, and I just used
the other. After some time, I had cataract surgery in the other eye, so
they matched, and I had no more double vision.
