Yes there is!

The newsgroup sci.med.vision itself was yes not made by google. It was
made by Grant Sayer. But in fact there is a sci.med.vison google
group; I mean a sci.med.vision provided by Google. If you visit the
link what I posted then you will see it. I think Dan You are just
being silly and too fussy about google groups and newsgroups
distinction.

Also Dan I don't think shistola is a actual word what you will find in
the dictionary, but it is maybe an expression?
