Flare factor of the eye

Hi ng,

Does someone have an idea how large the flare factor of the eye (how
much flare light it has to deal with)?
I´m asking because I´m interested if there is a connection between the
characteristic curve of the visual system, it´s ability to produce
percepts of contrast/tonal values and it´s flare factor.
