Greenish-yellow

Every morning, off-white mucous-y stuff collects in the inner corners
of my eyes, particularly when I instill lubricating drops or saline.

Back from trip to Colorado (eyes were thoroughly brutalized) last
night. As has been my practice, I put Genteal lube in my eyes last
night to help ameliorate the dessicating effect of the airplane ride.

This morning, the mucous-y stuff was green-to-yellow.

The trip to Colorado was for evaluation by National Jewish Medical &
Research Center to evaluate me for immune dysfunction subsequent to
high-dose Neurontin used to control the eye pain in April.

I've been pretty sick for a while, still reacting "wildly" to staph
(furuncles) and fungi (fungal sinusitis). Systemic antifungals and
nasal BactroBan prescribed by CO doctors.

Given my extensive ocular history and an indication of immune
dysfunction (verified by the doctors; awaiting quantification, if
possible), what would you recommend regarding this latest, if
anything?

Neil, you probably have a bacterial eye infection. Of course, you need
to see yet another doctor (or speak to one over the phone) for some
topical antibiotics.
