All this has been interesting, but I really need to get my eyes done.

Q: Does anyone know of an acrylic IOL that is aspheric, blocks
ultraviolet up to 400 nm, and is not yellow? (Available in the US.)

If I could find such a thing, I would have had surgery back in early
fall.

All searches have failed. I'm asking here as a last resort.

thanks,
Liz

If it blocks UV over 380, it will be slightly yellow. Blocking over
380 blocks some blue light, if you block blue light, the lens will be
slightly yellow.

You need to rethink your criteria, you are asking for the impossible.

Sorry, Dr. Judy, I wasn't being clear. I meant, "is not very yellow",
or, "is not intended to block blue light".

Such a lens exists, the Sofport.*
However, it is not acrylic.

To understand what I've been complaining about, see:

I'm sure it can; AMO just finished clinical tests of such a lens, but
it won't be available for a few years... too late for me.

It sure is! I'm stumped.
