Other than offset the measured IOP reading to a lower number, what else
might LASIK do? Would the suction of the keratome cause more
pigmentary dispersion? Would the short pressure spike create
additional optic nerve damage? Would the use of steroids pose
additional risk? If you had a complication, would you really want to
add another chronic eye problem on top of another?

Food for thought.
