Bacterial or other infection is a worry. Whatever solution they have
been soaking in has long since lost its disinfecting power. Who knows
how many bacteria are growing on the lens, in the solution, or on the case.
Also, any pre-existing protein deposits on the lens are now "baked-on"
(like if you don't rinse your dinner plate immediately after eating, the
food gets stuck on and harder to remove after a while). This may cause
eye irritation and also is a magnet for bacteria.
Since you have disposable lenses, you should make use of the
"disposable" feature! Maybe they would be OK... but it's a risk that I
wouldn't take. I've had viral keratitis from contacts - not pleasant!
