i am wearing monthly contacts. but due to the fact that it's quite
expensive and that i never saw a reason why to throw them away while
they are still good, i tried to be lazy and save some money. also i
didn't buy any cleaning liquids anymore and started the experiment of
wearing my contacts for more than 3 months straight. yes, i also wore
them during the night, never cleaned them. today i thought it's time
to write such an email and i also put some new contacts in my eyes.
and they truly don't make a difference to the ones i had in for a
quarter year... any comments or words of caution on that?

Bacterial growth and protein buildup scare
you epithelium and sclera.

Bacterial growth and protein buildup scar your epithelium and sclera.
Ever visit your Ophthalmologist and see the pictures of all the diseases
that \
can affect your eye?

Contacts are in my opinion a bad choice anyway especially extended-wear.

Wearing monthly lenses for a bit longer than a month would be
acceptable, however not cleaning, nor disinfecting your lenses is a
bad decision. Contaminated lenses can cause a whole host of
infections, including a vision threatening bacteria pseudomonas, which
can cause blindness. Extending their usage is one thing, however I
strongly dissuade you from not cleaning and disinfecting
