more comfortable daily wear contact lenses

I have been wearing contacts for 10 years. Recently, the brand I wear,
Edge 3, has started to become uncomfortable. I have never worn any
other brand. Do any eye care specialists have suggestions for daily
wear lenses that are considered by most people to be easier to wear?
When I wear lenses, it is often for 12 hours or so because I am out of
the house and hard to remove them.
