Need quotation from Mehr, Freid "Low Vision Care" 1975

Hi all,

Does anyone have Mehr and Freid's 1975 book "Low Vision Care"?

I am doing a translation that includes a Spanish version of a
definition included in the book, but can only find part of it.

The part I have found says::
"...a reduced central acuity or visual field loss which even with best
optical correction still result in visual impairment from a
performance standpoint".

I need the first part of the sentence, which should say something
like:
"Low vision, partial sight, or sub-normal vision can be defined as..."
