Hi,
I've just joined this group and would like to tell its members about
my web Journal.
For the most part, it is postings of my columns and reports about the
beginnings of technology in ophthalmic and medical lasers, including
refractive surgery, laser treatments for glaucoma and for age-related
macular degeneration.
I was a columnist for Ocular Surgery News, writing the Technology
Update column for about ten years. I am now retired and posting some of
my older columns so that historians and researchers will have access to
the beginnings that I witnessed and wrote about.
I have also recently posted about Avastin, a brand new hope for
treating AMD - that actually stops AMD cold in its tracks and
improves vision in many cases. The link to that posting is:

For the rest of my online Journal, go to:

I look forward to your comments about my postings.
Regards,
Irv Arons
