Dear Friends,
I want you to know about a new software program for low vision people
that some of my friends have been testing.
It's called C-Desk, and is available for PCs from AdaptiveVoice. Turn
it on, and your most-used computer functions become voice-enabled with
high-contrast/large print fonts and cursor, and user-controlled
magnification. I hear it's extremely user-friendly.
Functions include word processing, contact list/address book, Internet
browsing, email, scanning/reading, and even the new Skype audio/video
function. The company offers a free 15-day trial through their website
at:
http://www.AdaptiveVoice.com
If you decide to try it, please feel free to share your comments and
experience via their website.
Best wishes,
Nicole
