"Higher oxygen levels increase risk for eye condition"

Supplemental oxygen is known to lead to a deficiency of vitamin E.
Vitamin E is recommended for those who are on oxygen DUE TO the lack
of vitamin E caused by administering oxygen.
This finding of increased retinopathy of prematurity would be
because .. ? .. oxygen destroys vitamin E and doctors and nurses are
tooooo stupid to give the babies vitamin E to prevent the damage done
BY .. them .. these medical 'professionals'.
Soooo theoretically the medical profession can be sued by any person
whose child received oxygen and received blindness as a result of the
stupidity of these .. dweeeeeebs ..

Two findings from an NIH research network study provide new
information on how much oxygen very preterm infants should receive
starting on the first day of life and the most effective means to
deliver it to them. The first was that higher oxygen levels improve
preterm infants' survival but increase the risk for a condition that
can damage the retina.
