Dear all,

I read an article "Risk Factors for Night Vision Complaints after LASIK for

Myopia" by Mihai Pop and Yves Payette and they pointed out that pre-operational

scotopic pupil size was not an important factor to predict post-LASIK NVC. And

in a guest editoral "Night Vision after LASIK: The Pupil Proclaims Innocence"

by Stephen D. Klyce, technological advancement of excimer laser system was

claimed to be the major reason of different results between the first article

and articles in early years.

I have two questions here. Firstly, what is your opinion about the role of

pupil on post-LASIK NVC? Secondly, the system used in first article was "Nidek

EC-5000 non–wavefront guided slit-scanning excimer laser". Is it better

compared with the system used in previous studies?

I need this imformation to finish my literature review. Please help me.

Thank You.

Fine
