redness under lower eyelid

Hello all,
A family member was bitten by a bug (or insect) directly under
her left eye. There is still a small mark of a bite. The swelling
under the eye is gone, but when she opens her lower
eyelid it's very red.

She also says that her left eye is more sensitive to
light.

Is there anything she can do? It has been several weeks.

We don't know what bit her.

Yes, see a doctor. Don't look for a diagnosis over the internet.
