Risk of Contacts 2?

I wear Focus 2 weeks softs, follow all rules and never sleep in them
other than
occasional naps.
But, sometimes, late at night there is some blurriness. I'm thinking it
is due
to lack of moisture. Usually put them in at 9 AM and take them out at 11 PM.

Is it dangerous to keep them in while experiencing this blurriness?
Feels like I want to blink repeatedly to sharpen vision. Probably to
make tears.

What kind of eye drops should it get? Up til now I've never carried any
around
because it would left in the hot car all of the time and deteriorate and
maybe
be worse than using anything.

If you put drops in and your vision clears, well there ya go!

My favorite drop (of the moment, for me and my hioxifilcon lenses) is
Refresh Contacts or Refresh Tears (same product, different packages) but
there are quite a few out there that work and the selection varies in
different parts of the USA and in other countries. Some formulations
work better with some plastics than others and some feel better for
different folks, due to differences in individual tear chemistry. Ask
your doctor for his/her recommendation. You may have to find the "right
one" by trying a few or you might be a person for whom anything works!

And your are correct that leaving the bottle in the hot car is a no-no.

Not so. I just ordered, and received a couple of cases of the stuff.
And they're on the shelf at Longs Drugs.

But you are still introducing potential pathogens into the container.
Good idea in theory, though. Sadly, the really small dropper-size
containers of saline, if, when and where you can find them, are
outrageously priced, sometimes 30 or 40 times the per unit cost of the
larger containers.

Still possible. Sometimes, plain saline indeed works best.

Plain saline is a fine idea for rinsing/rewetting lenses in the eye. But
if you need some lubrication, or longer lasting rehydrating, then the
products designed for that are better.

I'd like to add to my "favorite drops" list Ciba's new (to the USA)
Aquify, Viva Drops and Theratears. But, as I said, they all perform
somewhat differently with different plastics on different eyes.
