I have a six year old son. Whenever he is watching something, from TV to bugs outside, he cocks his head sideways and observes from the corner of his eyes. Greater tendency for the right side of the eye but will look from either.

Is this something that I should be worried about?

Tom

Hi Tom,

If you have worries regarding your son's vision. The best practice for the start is to use William Bates method, simply make some exercises using his method. You can find more details on exercises on this website William Bates (i-see.org/bates_nutshell)
If you have specific questions, because it needs deeper investigation you can contact me at christopherreynoldsoptometrist.com
In most cases there is a need to look closer to find out more about the behavior of eyes. In your case, it does not seem to be as something serious.

This is outrageous nonsense! Your kid should have full professional assessment for any vision or binocular problem and certainly never recommended for the Bates's psycho-babble system at that age (or any age for that matter).

If he has a genuine v. or b/v. problem left unfixed to now the time limit for helping has or is fast running out.

Remote 'diagnosis' like this is highly irresponsible.

Are you an optometrist?
It certainly seems implied.
Your website however indicates just a multi-linking system.
