Hello, I'm new to this forum. I was reading an old post about
Synergeyes contact lenses. I recently just got a pair. I have been
using soft contacts for years. Several months ago I was prescribed
RGPs. They gave me great visual acuity but my eyes kept getting red
and dry so I stopped using them. My synergeyes lenses are not as
comfortable as regular soft contact lenses but are way more comfortable
than RGPs. Anyway, I would just like to know if anybody else uses
these lenses and how they like them. I am going for a follow up visit
at my OD's office today.

Glad to hear that Synergeyes work.

I can't wear RPGs because of a poor tear break up time. I could wear
soft lenses before having LASIK but LASIK damaged my night vision and
soft lenses no longer help. I've got an appointment to be seen for
Synergeyes lenses next week. I'm hoping these will work for me.

You both have my condolences for the lasik ruined eyes. Personally I am
supprised anyone would risk lasik if they tolerated contact lenses
fine. Lasik does not give vision anywhere as good as soft contacts and
may make you intolerant of contacts. Why get lasik if you will just end
back in contacts?

Ace shut up, you are hurting people this way.

You don't have to deal with the problems these people are suffering of,
neither you can solve these problems.

You are a narcissistic person who wants to project his own problems on
those of others.

As always Ace, give mom and dad a kiss and go to bed, remember hands
above the sheets to avoid getting more shortsighted as you are already.

Thanks for posting. I've never heard of these. What's the downside?
My doctor is listed on the synergeyes web page, but he never mentioned
them to me. Are they especially expensive or something? I can't
imagine, since these RGP's were so pricey.

Oh I never had any lasik. I do feel bad for those whose surgeries did
not turn out so good. I so however have a strong myopic prescription.

Yes they are expensive. I really like them though. I only bought one
pair and they costed $380. Much, much more comfortable than traditional
RGPs.

Jan's rudeness was uncalled for. There was nothing wrong with offering
condolences. I pretty much know what a bad result is, I have friends
with bad lasik results and ive seen hundreds of pictures of distorted
lasik vision. Dont get lasik, stick to your contacts or glasses! I wont
touch lasik on myself, way too dangerous!

Rudeness toward you and Elevator Boy is ENTIRELY "called for" until you
stop posting your self-absorbed, ill-informed, narcissistic drivel
here.

Carry on, Folks. Both barrels, if you please.
