Does someone have a list of toric soft contacts lenses which are available
over -6.00? I'll most likely need a -6.25 or -6.50. I'd like to know the
choices I have available to me before I go in to my next appointment. Are
any of the new silicone hydrogel lenses available as torics and over -6.00?
Thanks for any replies!

One of my prescriptions is for Biomedics, -7.00 SPH, -0.75 CYL. (They
make up to -2.25 CYL, I believe). If I'm not mistaken, both Focus and
SofLens66 have torics over -6.00. No idea about the silicone hydrogels,
though, since they're not available where I am.

There are many toric soft lenses in the powers you require. In silicone
hydrogel, there are currently two possible in toric with others in a few
months, depending where upon Planet Earth you exist. It serves no
purpose to list them all here; simply ask your contact lens practitioner
what is available to you at that office and if he/she has access to
everything in your prescription. I'm an advocate for high DK lenses like
silicone hydrogel but most important is one that fits correctly and
provides optimum vision. Consider rigid GP lenses, too.

I wonder if timstorm meant -6.00 sphere or cylinder power? If cyl, so
far the answers are wrong...
