Hello all,
Are there any sunglasses that block UV rays but
available in clear color, i.e no shades?

Thanks!

Silly question here, but wouldn't clear lenses defeat the purpose of
the concept of "sunglasses"?

Macular degeneration is one of those conditions and the dangers are
not overstated.

clear polycarbonate is nearly 100% uv blocking in its natural state,
so many plain safety glasses with pc lenses would block uv.
many opticians have a uv meter which can confirm if a lens blocks uv.

In all glasses, sun and otherwise, the UV barrier whether partial or
more or less complete is a good thing unless you subscribe to the wierd
belief that it's good for your health.

Also, all tints are either for cosmetic value or for physical comfort
for those who are bothered by the presence of direct or indirect
sunlight. The tints, or color of the lens, add nothing to "eye protection".
