A vision anomaly.

If I look over the frame of my glasses, at a light or a blue sky, I
can make out a series of small dots above and below the frame.
Extending about the width of the dark frame. Along the total length
of the frame. Nowhere else. Cataract doctor says it's not in the
cornea, too close to the nodal points. One time, taking a pinhole
Snellen acuity test with a brightly lit background, I did see a
cluster of these dots within and filling the the pinhole.

Anyone run into this symptom before?
