Who came up with the idea of simultaneous multi-focal contacts?
Although not perfect, I am continually amazed that they work so well.

I'm wearing Ciba Focus Progressives. They are best for near and far
vision for me. I tried the B&L PureVision Multi-Focal. The near was
much better but the distant vision was not good.

I'm looking forward to the new Air Optix Aqua Multifocals.

I am aware they use different designs, but who was the guy who figured
out you could have several images in your eye and the brain somehow
sorts out the correct one? (If that is how they work). Is the same
way Magic Eye pictures work?
