What are your concerns about LASIK Surgery?

Do you have experience with LASIK surgery and what do you feel are the
legit pro's and con's?

I think people should be well educated about a topic that can affect
their eyesight for the rest of their lives before going under the
scapel - so to speak. While the statistics indicate a high success
rate how would you like to be in the 2% that did not have success?
Or, perhaps had a seriously botched surgery? I think not!
Therefore, it would seem that this surgery would require due diligence
research to the greatest extent before making a personal decision of
choosing to go forward with the LASIK vision correction procedure.
