I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. My original lenses had 172 on the right lens and 174 on the left lens. They were recently replaced due to an issue with the frame and the replacements both have 178 etched on them.

I'm assuming the first 2 digits are the ADD value for the progressive lens as the ADD on my Rx is +1.75.

I've looked all over and can't find what the difference in the last digit means. Nothing is wrong with them, it's just to satisfy my own curiosity.

These are the numbers etched onto the lens, not the numbers on the RX.
