    Dear Friends,

Subject: Source of low cost glasses on the Internet

A few weeks ago, there was a little discussion about where to buy
(cheap) glasses for vision improvement purposes. Somebody replied
with Optical4less ( At that time I needed two
pair of glasses: one for driving (90% correction) and one for
    reading/close work.

Today, I received two pair of glasses from optical4less and must say
I am very happy with it. Not only the quality seems fine (can tell
that for sure after one year of usage...) but the price is extreme
low for the Netherlands. I paid $ 58 for two pair of glasses,
shipping included. In the Netherlands, I would pay about $ 200 for
    the lenses only.

Finaly I have my reduced glasses WITHOUT cylindrical correction.

    Dear Friends,

Subject: Contact lens information -- FYI

It's exactly the same for me, Richard. In Sweden we have lots of
internet suppliers for contacts and one for eyeglasses. Under subject to
no regulations. I pay equal to $30 for a pair made of cr39 plastics -
excellent quality, which I can tell after a year of usage.

Very nice when companies deliver exactly what you WANT and ORDER - with
no dirty squirty OD's fingers interfering with your efforts. Well after
all, Swedish OD's aren't the worst really, they can be quite docile at
    times :)
