Hello. I wanted to throw a softball out there to see if there have been any changes in the eye world that might benefit my brother. Around 15 years ago he started noticing some strange vision and was diagnosed with APMPPE. He was treated with steroids for a while and eventually the disease no longer was an issue, but he was left with scar tissue, from what we were told. His vision is obstructed in various regions and generally has very limited vision. We've looked into treatments with no real luck, but I'm hoping to get a farther reach out on the internet. We are wondering if there have been any advances in laser surgery or anything that might be able to help him have improved vision and field of view.
