Better than 20/20?

    I've worn glasses and contacts for years now and I know some people have natural eyesight that is 20/15 or even 20/10. My question is if it is possible to get glasses or contacts that give you vision that is better than 20/20. If no, why not? If yes, how does it work? Is it that it is theoretically possible but discouraged, dangerous, or perhaps prohibited? Is there any professional discussion about this?
