    Hi eveyrone,

I just started wearing contact lenses about 1 month ago. My doc
recommended using Biomedics Toric lenses (which is quite expensive,
comparing to other toric lenses). I came across this site which said
that UltraFlex toric lenses are "exactly the same" as the Biomedics
Toric ones. Is this claim true? They are MUCH cheaper than the ones
that are marketed as Biomedics Toric. I've included the link and their
claim at bleow. I appreciate any insights!

come factory sealed in their original packaging and have the same
expiry and shelf life as the Biomedics Toric contact lenses you would
    get from your doctor's office."

    Yes they are the same.
Ocular Sciences makes Biomedics Torics. They manufacture the identical
lenses and sell them through a number of other distribution outlets with
slightly different names. Ultraflex is another name that the Biomedics line
is sold under. They can be directly substituted.

these are available from walmart and sams clubs. they sell for about
    $27-29/box.
    ultraflex = biomedics
they are the same lenses sold from different distributors with
    different names.
its perfectly legal for any distributor to substitute as long as you
have a valid prescription from your eyedoc.
