    DESPERATE FOR HELP!!

Where can I get large eyeglass frames?

I wanted to conform. I tried the current (ugly) fashion craze, and
bought a pair of small frames. But because of the reduced frame size,
the lenses sit so close to my eyes that my eyelashes continuously
brush against the inside of the lenses. I could stand to wear them
only for one day. Now they sit in a drawer, and I am wearing my old
large pair, which I repaired with epoxy. Unfortunately I see the
epoxy is now beginning to crack.

Please can I get a link to a seller of large style frames? Any advice
at all would be greatly appreciated.

Please post reply, or email me at

    Sincerely,
    TankGirl

perhaps an optical store could adjust the smaller frames so that they
sit further away from your face. have you tried that?

I want plastic frames (the kind without nose pads). I hate how nose
pads get grungy. I clean my plastic frame glasses many times a day.
This is one reason why the epoxy repair on my old pair is beginning to
    weaken.

Please can I get a link to a seller of LARGE style plastic frames?

  4. I have already tried the big chain stores. Not trying to insult you,
but how long has it been since you bought glasses? The only thing
available these days are small, and more rarely, medium size frames.
I am looking for a link to a manufacturer of LARGE style frames. 25
years ago that was every manufacturer. Today, style has completely
gone the other way. Is there such a manufacturer out there? You
would think there would be at least one. After many unproductive
hours in stores, optometrist show rooms, and on the internet, I have
not found them. But I believe in my heart there is a market for
people who want large frames. Is there not a company producing them?

Big frames are back at least in sunglasses.
What means "ten years ago when I was active." ?

    Hello,

I think he means ten years ago he was active on ebay.

Big frames SUCK. How can you possibly want to look so silly in them,
it is a wonder to me. Actually all frames suck, just stop wearing them
altogether and cure yourself via the real stuff, which is rest methods.

I think it mean that ten years ago he was an active member of ebay,
    buying and selling things.

  8. Is your desire for large frames a fashion thing, or vision, or is it just
    Dear Mike,

Yes, it is a fashion thing. I like the large frames. I don't like
small frames, and 95% of what is available today are small frames.
The other 5% are only medium sized.

I did buy large frames from eBay, but the "nose bridge" is too wide,
and they keep sliding off my face. If there is REALLY no manufacturer
of large frames on the Earth, I guess I am stuck with eBay. (And I'm
sure there's a lot fewer large frames on eBay now, than 10 years ago).

Is there REALLY no manufacturer of large frames on the Earth?
