    Hello,

Starting back in January this year I developed a chalazion that measured at 7.5 mm big. I was so huge it looked like a hat on my eyelid. In February, I had it removed surgically. The surgery did not go well. The chalazion could not be completely removed, as it had become a solid mass. In March the chalazion grew back again to 7 mm. This April, I had the chalazion injected with a Kenalog injection and it got quite a bit smaller. The chalazion shrunk to about 2mm, I would say. The problem is, I have had blurry vision since the first chalazion surgey and it is now nearly 5 months later and I only have 1.5 mm left of chalazion in my eye. Could this be the source of my blurry vision (double vision in affected eye?). Did the chalazion surgery ruin my vision, or is it possible that a chalazion as small as 1.5 mm could still be affecting my vision? I have been dealing with chalazion so long now (5 months) that the opthamologist is calling it a neoplasm now. What is the source of my blurred vision, after 5 months of dealing with this, you think?

A large chalazion can cause blurry vision along with other discomforts. Typically it takes about a month or two to fully recover from chalazion. But it's not so normal to suffer for such a long time. Visit another optician for better clarity.
