Colour Contact Lens Problems

    I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I've been having with
    colour contact lens. I have clear contact lens prescribed and I have no
    problems with them, but I decided I wanted some colour contacts and I
    ordered some off the Internet. Freshlook (-1.5), then Freshlook (0) then
    Trucolors (-1.5). With both brands and strengths I found that they were
    uncomfortable, irritating and vision was cloudy even the ones without any
    strength. Can anyone explain this? Is this a known problem with coloured
    contacts or could it be the brand or strength/fitting? I cannot understand
    them being so cloudy and uncomfortable compared to my other contacts. Thanks

    Freshlooks only come in one shape, and one company can design their edges quite
    differently from another company. _Sometimes_ people can feel the "texture" of
    the color applique.

    It may be that you are only comfortable with lenses that fit tighter than
    Freshlook.
