This is my situation. For the past 3 years or so, I have had constant
red eye in my right eye, (sometimes, like right now I have it in my
left). I probably get it every 2 to 3 months and it lasts for a week
or so. It doesn't hurt but it is very annoying to say the least. I
had my eyes examined two weeks ago for new eye glasses and the
optometrist said that I simply had more blood vessels in my right eye,
(hence my right eye gets very dry from looking at a computer screen).
I only use glasses for driving and watching movies; on the computer I
can see fine (myopic). Currently, I have a pinkish splotch on my left
eye – it doesn't completely cover the entire white of the eye but the
lower left/bottom of the eye. It feels a bit warm but doesn't affect
my vision or doesn't hurt, (could this be pink eye? – I have had that
little splotch for 4 days now). Here are my questions:

    1. What can I do to help my eyes and computer usage? (i.e., Computer
glasses, eye-drops, eat a certain food to make my eyes better,

    2. What can I do to treat my left eye right now? (typically, when I
have red eye on the right it covers the entire eye and is pinkish –
typically I have a small amount of discharge when I wake up in the
morning – right now I don't have much of a discharge on my left eye
except it feels a bit warm).

    3. Could this be vitamin deficiency or something underlying? Or
could it be that using a computer for so long causes these problems?

I really appreciate any help and insight into this. Thank you so
