Any other contact wearers find wearing them in casinos unbearable? This is
the first time I ever felt like ripping out my contacts as my eyes felt so
irritated from all the smokers. Too bad smoking can't be banned from
casinos. Any solutions besides not wearing them? Thanks.

As someone who used to practice in Las Vegas, I can tell you that this
is a common complaint. Generally it can be relieved with rewetting

But the best advice I can give you is to stay out of the casinos.
There's a reason that those places look that way, and it's NOT because
they are losing money. But if you insist, always double down on 11.

I have the same problem, as I'm sure many others do. I can get by in
the casino for about 3-4 hours before I have to get out of there and
rest. I've noticed that if I take a break and rewet my lenses by
actually taking them out, rubbing the smoke off, and rinsing and
resinserting them I can be much more comfortable.

A shot of Naphcon A in either or both eyes before going to bed helps
too. Lots of water intake also helps. You can also try to find a
place in the casino where the smoke is at a minimum. Some casinos
(i.e., the Luxor) have a ventilation system that is constantly
replacing the air. If you can find good air flow you'll find that the
    smoky consequences can be reduced.

If you think casinos are bad, make sure you don't go on a cruise.
It's murder on your eyes! You can find some non-smoking rooms in
casinos, and in fact, there is a non-smoking cruise ship called the
    Paradise (from Carnival).

    Hope this helps.
