Hello All; I have a question about Contacts that maybe you can answer. I
Currenly wear Freshlook Contacts. However, I want to try Acuvue 2
contacts -- The Base Curve on my prescribed lenses is MEDIAN w/ a Diameter
of 14.5 However the Acuvue comes in a base curve of 8.3 w/ a 14.0 Diameter.
Is this going to cause any problems? I want to order online because of the
    cheaper price.

Base curves are not comparable between brands of lenses. You will need
refitting by your contact lens fitter if you want to switch brands. It is
not legal for the on line company to sell lenses to you without a valid
    prescription.

    Might. Might not.
    Two things you should know:

    1. Acuvue comes in two designs (old Acuvue and Acuvue2) and two (three
for plus powers) base curves, not one. There's no way to know if the
*one you choose* is going to fit or provide clear vision. That's what
    lens fittings are for.

    2. No reseller in the USA can legally sell you lenses without a
prescription. Anyone who sells it to you is violating the law, not to
mention the law of common sense and respect for your eye health.

If you want to accept the risk, you certainly can find sellers who dont
care about your eyes and only their profit. Best of luck.

    Hello everyone,

I just picked up a trial lenses, I went from Fresh Look to Acuvue. I was comparing prices online and I am having trouble finding the correct prescription for my right eye. My prescription reads the following:
    * Acuvue Oasys Disposable
    -3.75 / cyl 0.00
    bc 8.40 / dia 14.5

When selecting the options for the base curve and diameter, I cannot select the prescribed amount. Can anybody shed some light? Thank You.

Remembered contact lens cannot be sold without prescriptions by professional doctors. One-two an half year is the renewable time for your prescriptions and if you have already pass from this stages then make sure you have renewed your lens. Otherwise it may create some problem.
