    Good Morning
I had surgery on my left eye for a detatched retina 13 days ago, I had to have an Opp under GA and they fitted a buckle.
I'm only 38 and this was completely out of the blue, I had blurred vision in the eye a week or so before but blamed stress I've been under.
My recovery has been awful, my eye still doesnt open and when I do open it I have complete double vision. I've been in pain for 2 weeks. No out patients appointment for follow up yet, I'm getting desperate. Xant drive or work or do anything. I was ok before this opp. Is this normal I have no one to ask and the hospital after care is non existent.
I've been told I have extensive lattice in my left eye but I'm so terrified after my right I'm going to refuse laser treatment as I cant take much more.
    Thanks in advance.

It's important to have a professional assess your condition, as they will have the necessary expertise and access to your medical records to provide appropriate guidance. They can evaluate the status of your eye, assess any potential complications or underlying issues, and provide the necessary treatment or referrals.
