I was prescribed -4.25 with -0.75 cylinder for my left eye and -6.5 with -0.25 cylinder for right eye for glasses and contact prescription for -4.5 for my left eye and -5.75 for my right eye.
Why is my contact prescription is higher than the glass prescription for my left eye? Does the cylinder has to do anything with it?
Also when i wore my glasses for a few hours and put on contacts my right eye felt very uncomfortable and it took a little bit to adjust to vision with the contacts on. And when i have my glasses on vision in my right eye is sharper than my left eye and vision with my contact lenses on my right eye is blurrier than my left eye. I tried increasing my right eye contact prescription to -6.0, which did not really help and the doctor said they dont have contacts for -6.25 and that -6.5 might be too much. Should i just decrease my right eye glass lenses to 6.25 so the difference is not uncomfortable for my eyes? Im so confused.
