Hi, I hope you can advise. Went for an eye test a couple of days ago, after three years wearing the same glasses. Bit concerned because I don't know if my prescriptions make sense? Here is the old one ...

    SPH Right +2.50 Left +2.25 / Cyl R -0.50 L -0.50 / Axis R 160 L 80

    The new one...

    SPH Right +1.75 Left +1.75 / Cyl R -0.25 L -0.25 / Axis R 163 L 75 / Near-ADD R +1.25 L +1.25 / Inter-ADD R +0.75 L +0.75 / BVD 11.00

Does this look normal? I feel my eyesight did get worse over the last three years, and want to make sure the difference in the two prescriptions is possible and that the second optician got it right? They tried to sell me bifocals afterwards, but I just asked for reading glasses again.

    Thanks you your help
