After suffering from dryness in the eye that I wear my RGP contact lens
(the other eye had laser eye surgery and is not a problem, I had my
tear flow examined and found that the Meibomian glands that produce the
oil were completely blocked. The eye doc suggested that I try hot
compress and lid massage to see if that clears the oil glands. Can
anyone recommend any tips or techniques on doing this? Or any online
reference with diagrams would be helpful.

Also, if the Meibomian glands have been blocked for some time what
happens to all the oil that the body produces that should have gone into
    the eye?
    TIA
