Essilor Varilux Ellipse Eyeglass Lens-Still a good choice?

    Hello,

    I'm in the process of purchasing new eyewear. I have been wearing a 1.67 Ellipse Lens and have been advised to keep with this lens in a 1.6 for my new prescription or go for the Essilor Physio 360 lens? I understand the newer lens have better technology but I have received different opinions from various places - all high end optometry clinics. I have also been told the Hoya lens is less expensive and just as good. Help - any advice?
