This is almost certainly largely a problem of my own making, in that I\nspend 10-12 hours per day at my PC, 6/7 days a week. But this\nparticular issue, getting a bad eye strain in my left eye, seems to\nhave arisen only in recent weeks. Not long after installing my new PC\nwith its great 24" flat widescreen. It's positioned a little further\naway than my old CRT, about 75 cm versus 60 cm, but *seems* to be\nclear enough. I use my old 'computer glasses' which were prescribed\nsome years ago for this, as it was too much for my varifocals to cope\nwith.\n\nCan anyone suggest why I should be getting this, particularly just in\nthe left eye please? Could it be posture related in some way? Or am I\nperhaps 'favouring' one eye? Now that I think about it, maybe a higher\nproportion of my attention does seem to be towards the left side of\nthe screen, maybe because menus etc seem to be there more often. Or\nyet another factor might be that this LCD screen is much brighter than\nmy old one, and I do find myself staring a lot.\n\nAny advice/tips would be much appreciated please.
