An elderly friend has had several failed corneal transplants
subsequent to a failed IO lens implantation. She has a lot of pain
from irritation, lack of tearing etc. Light perception or slightly
    better in the affected eye.

Her Doctor has advised her to have the eye 'sewn shut' permanently.
She has recently heard of another option which she could not even
describe to me (something about pulling another membrane over the
    eye)and a third option- eneucleation.

I want to send her to a site where she can read some discussion of
    these options and their consequences.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.
